Are you ready for the next season of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports to begin? Well, ready or not, here comes BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2, the first S-Tier event following the dramatic conclusion to IEM Cologne Major 2026, where Team Falcons lifted the coveted trophy.

BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 starts with an online Closed Qualifier, which runs from 21 to 26 July. The format is a single-elimination bracket, where all matches are best-of-three.

The total prize pool is $1,150,000. At the current Dollar-to-Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R19 million. This tournament features a dynamic prize pool. As the name might suggest, teams earn cash as they eliminate others. If teams don’t make it out of this “Closed Qualifier” situation and into the top eight, they only receive a tiny portion of the prize pool.

A total of 32 teams are competing, but only the top eight will advance to the finals in Malta, where they’ll compete on LAN from 30 July to 2 August. Here, the format is a single-elimination bracket, where Quarterfinals and Semifinals matches are best-of-three, and the Grand Final is best-of-five.
