We're excited to report that South African will compete as one of the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports squads at the Esports Nations Cup later this year. Regional qualifiers have finished, and the 16 competitors have been determined.

The team from South African includes the following players, many of whom you will instantly recognize if you've been following local CS for a while.

The Esports Nations Cup is a mega-event just like the Esports World Cup, but focuses just on national teams. Its CS2 event is scheduled to run from 10 to 15 November 2026. Check out the complete list of all 16 nations competing below, including which regions they qualified from.
