Are you ready for more top-tier Battle Royale action? Well, the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 mega-event taking place in Paris, France, has fans covered. Let's discuss the Free Fire tournament taking place at the EWC 2026 this month, also known as the World Series Global Finals.

Free Fire at EWC 2026

Mark your calendars for 15 to 18 July 2026, when the Free Fire tournament takes place on LAN at the EWC 2026. There are 24 teams competing for their share of the $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that's roughly R16.3 million.

The action begins with the Group Stage from 15 to 16 July 2026, where all 24 teams are divided into two groups of 12 teams each. Each group plays 12 matches, with the top four teams per group qualifying directly for the Finals stage. The 5th to 10th-place teams from each group advance to the Survival Stage, while the bottom four are eliminated.

In the Survival Stage (17 July), 12 teams will play 10 matches, with the top four qualifying for the Finals, and the rest are eliminated. On 18 July 2026, the remaining 12 teams will compete in a Champion Rush format until a victor is decided.
