Another week rolls around, and, of course, there's another batch of Cash Cups for local gamers to enjoy thanks to South African tournament organizer Mettlestate. As is tradition around these parts, let's jump straight into the details.

Taking place on the regular active days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday), there is a batch of five (5) Cash Cups from Mettlestate to compete in this week, and they all feature cash prizes.

• EA FC Mobile Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Monday, 17 August 2026, at 19:30.
• Chess Blitz Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, at 19:30.
• Fortnite Cup - Duos battle royale tournament starting on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, at 19:30.
• Clash Royale Cup - 1v1 tournament starting on Thursday, 20 August 2026, at 19:30.
• Mobile Legends Bang Bang Cup - 5v5 tournament starting on Saturday, 22 August 2026, at 19:30.

Please note: The information about the Cash Cups above has been sourced from the Mettlestate event page. All times in the list below are in SAST. The tournament organizer may add more events at short notice, so check their page periodically for updates.

Remember that registration for these tournaments closes about one to two hours before the events begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments are free to enter, and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on participants’ Premium (VIP) status.​

• 1st place: R500 (R1,000 with VIP)​
• 2nd place: R300 (R600 with VIP)​
• 3rd place: R200 (R400 with VIP)​
