Passion UA extends contract of South African CS2 coach
Ukrainian esports organization Passion UA has announced an extended contract for South African coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen.
Back in April 2025, we reported how a South African Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports coach, Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen, joined Passion UA, a Ukrainian esports organization.
It's been incredible to see Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen at big international events, and especially South African, with Johnny “JT” Theodosiou as the in-game leader, also on the same roster.
Now, we have some fantastic news to share for those who've been following the South African coach's career. Passion UA took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that they've extended the contract of Head Coach, aka Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen, until 2028!

Responding to the announcement, Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen said, "Grateful for the trust from Passion UA and excited to keep building together."
In such uncertain times across the entire globe, hearing about this long-term contract for a local legend is simply fantastic. We can't wait to see what Passion UA does next! Don't forget that they've already achieved some solid success in 2025, including making it to Stage 3 of the StarLadder Budapest Major.
