CS Asia Championships 2026 is the final top-tier Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) LAN tournament before we get to the IEM Cologne Major 2026, marking the end of the competitive season. It's an exciting time for CS2 esports fans, so let's jump into the vital details.

From tournament organizer Perfect World comes a fantastic, top-tier tournament taking place in Shanghai, China. It's part of the annual series and delivers plenty of viewing pleasure for CS2 esports fans, on LAN in front of a crowd.

CS Asia Championships 2026 runs from 20 to 24 May, boasting five days of non-stop action. We start in the Group Stage, featuring two double-elimination GSL-style groups of eight teams each. The top three teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Stage, with the 1st-place finishers going directly into the Semifinals, and the 2nd and 3rd-place finishers to the Quarterfinals.

In the Playoffs Stage, we'll see the final six teams compete in a single-elimination bracket. Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Third-Place Decider are BO3, and the Grand Final is BO5. The 16 teams are competing for their share of the $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that's roughly R16.5 million.
