EWC 2026 Dota 2 Event DetailsTaking place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles venue in Paris, France, the EWC 2026 Dota 2 event runs from 7 to 19 July 2026. The qualified Dota 2 teams will compete for their share of the $2 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that's roughly R33 million.
There are three stages of competition. The action begins with the Group Stage, featuring four groups of six teams each. The format is Round-Robin, with two-game series, where the top team from each group advances directly to the Playoffs Stage. Teams who finish 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in each group advance to the Survival Stage, while the bottom two teams from each group are eliminated.
