The Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 mega-event is now complete, with the CS2 tournament finishing up proceedings. In the final weekend, we saw some great competition, including Battle Royale action in the form of the Fortnite Reload Elite Series Championship.

In the Finals, the duo of Taylor-Petrik "vic0" Gatschelhofer and Danila "Malibuca" Iakovenko from BIG proved an unstoppable force, becoming back-to-back LAN champions after winning the FNCS Major 1 tournament earlier this year.

The French duo of Momsy & SkyJump held the most total points late into the finals through high placement, but were denied 1st place because they couldn't land the closing Victory Royale. In Game 13, however, BIG sealed the championship by earning a Victory Royale with 8 eliminations, with vic0 clutching up in the final fight.

vic0 was named the Sony MVP, earning an additional $25,000 for his incredible 32 eliminations in the event. Congratulations!
