South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) continues to bring esports fans across the country a ton of tournaments, big LANs, in-person and online events, and much more. This month, you can help choose the game for the next Mythic event, as ACGL puts gamers front and center. Let's take a quick look at what the Battle for Mythic is all about.

ACGL is leaving it up to the community to decide which game features in the next Mythic 2025 tournament. To join in the action, simply register for a free ACGL account to get started, and navigate to the Mythic page on the tournament organizer's website.

The Battle for Mythic began on 13 October 2025 and will run until 2 November, where one game will come out on top to feature in the upcoming R30,000 tournament. There are six different PCBuilder communities fighting for the all-important Mythic25 tournament, each with it's own Community Leader, leading the charge. Check out the details below.

In the Battle for Mythic announcement, ACGL states:

"We truly believe that each and every community here has what it takes to win the R30 000 tournament, and are so looking forward to seeing all the cross-community battles, banters and everything in-between!"

There are tonnes of prizes to be won over this period, including over R100,000 in giveaways. ACGL urges fans to keep an eye on the GIVEAWAYS page for the next three months, with amazing prizes you will not want to miss out on.
